Meet Roxanne
I consider it a privilege to support and empower you on your journey toward living a more fulfilling and happier life.
Hello there! I'm Roxanne Roybal de Diaz, and I'm thrilled to welcome you to Aspen Vista Counseling and Wellness. With 17 years of hands-on experience, I've had the privilege of working directly with adults, children, and their families in a diverse range of inpatient, community, and educational settings. Proudly licensed as a professional counselor since 2014, I've had the honor of supporting individuals both online and in person, spanning urban and rural areas around the globe.
My passion lies in serving expatriate and immigrant families, as well as championing the well-being of neurodivergent children, teens, and adults. It's my belief that everyone deserves personalized, compassionate care, and I'm committed to tailoring my approach to meet the unique needs of each individual.
Dedicated to supporting those living with symptoms of trauma, I understand the importance of creating a safe and nurturing space for healing and growth. Beyond the counseling room, you'll find me enjoying life to the fullest—whether it's playing pickleball, hitting the slopes for some skiing, exploring new destinations, or giving back by volunteering my time with a non-profit serving refugees.
At Aspen Vista, my goal is to guide you through your journey towards positive change and wellness. I look forward to the opportunity to work together, helping you navigate life's challenges and celebrate your successes. Let's embark on this transformative journey together!

Trauma-informed and Evidence-based treatment
The therapy approaches I use in my therapy practice are cognitive-behavior therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS), Polyvagal Therapy (PVT), motivational interviewing (MI) and Solution-Focused Therapy. I believe in treating the whole person in a manner that honors your background, culture, and life experiences. After getting to know what is important to you in our initial meeting, I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
